The price you set for your home, the price you might pay, your negotiating strategy, all depend on the type of market that you are in. That market can vary from community to community.
By type of market I am referring to – a Seller’s Market- Buyer’s Market or a Balanced Market. This is a key piece of information that should be part of your decision-making process. Your agent should know that number when they meet with you- and you as a smart buyer or seller should ask them for that key information. If they don’t know it or try to pass it off with terms like it’s an ok market, good market, hot market etc- ask them to be more precise.
