[VIDEOS] Is The Real Estate Market Changing In Your Area?

The market is definitely changing, especially in the rural and semi-rural areas around Ottawa. For the first time since the buying frenzy of April to June we are seeing listing expire and homes go off the market without selling. At the same time, we are seeing homes reducing their price as sellers adjust to the changing market.

In several cases, communities that we cover teeter back and forth between a “seller’s” market and a “balanced” market. However, the trend of city buyers looking in the country for more affordable homes continues, but many of these buyers have been looking for quite some time and they know exactly what they want and having waited this long, they are willing to wait longer to find the home they want.  Well priced homes are selling, but buyers are doing their homework too.

We have updated the videos on the selling conditions for several communities and these will show whether they still have a Sellers’ market, or if it changed to a Balanced or Buyer’s market?

All of the videos are less than one minute long. Check out the type of market in:

Greely, Kemptville-North Grenville, Russell, Embrun, Metcalfe, Osgoode, Vernon, North Dundas, Manotick, North Gower,

Orleans, Findlay Creek, Riverside South, South Keys, Greenboro, Hunt Club Park, Elmvale Acres, Riverside Park

These areas will give you a good idea as to what is happening. Other areas available on request. Call or text 613-897-6839.

The videos can be found under the market statistics tag in the Buyers or Sellers’ Market section of our main web page located HERE. Scroll down to the halfway point of the page.
